Don't prejudice people with tattoos!

Hi!,today i will be talking about my own personal experience.First of all,I have several tattoos in areas where they can be seen easily and iam 100% proud of every each one because they represent my family, life story, good memories and some of them symbolizes good positive energy.Lets start by how i made the decision on getting my first tattoo.Well,i was around 20 something years old and i always wanted a tattoo but my dad never wanted me do so,so i decided on moving out to my own place and do it.I wanted to become independent and show everybody that it doesn't matter who you are or what you wear you can be an useful person for your country. After i move out i waited a couple of months and choosed my tattoo design. Then went to this recognized and popular tattoo place close to where i lived. When its your first tattoo you are very nervous and scared because you don't have an idea of how much its going to hurt but as a brave women i took the pain as a queen.I didn't cry, scream or run out of the place I just left with an awesome tattoo to show off. After leaving the place i went to my mom's house and showed her my tattoo and she though that i was joking, that might not be real and so on until she saw "Hey! its damn real!" She looked at me like "Why the hell you did it?!" But i knew she will understand my reasons, thankfully she understood. My reason for my first tattoo was to always remember that i have 2 kids to fight for and i will never going to let them down.I will fight for them no matter what, that's what good mom's do and protect them against any danger. You see my tattoo and it just tells you that message without saying a single word. That's what tattoos are about,to tell you a message without necessarily talking about it or say a word. After this first tattoo it became addictive and i did a bunch more here and there but every each one means a lot to me.Its not just a simple tattoo its ART,its your Past and your Present. We tattooed people has been prejudice years after years but you have to stop doing that because we are just human beings like you who can get offended, who have emotions, who have jobs, who are decent people and who deserves to be treated like everybody else. Now on  year 2,012 we are becoming more open minded about this matter of people getting tattoos and showing them off, even celebrities are getting tattooed and they make Tattoos Conventions all over the country, this tells you that people are living their life's as they want to and they are not scared about people's opinions because they are not doing any wrong.A tattoo can't change people's attitude or mind they are the same people with the same beliefs before getting any tattoos. So my question is "Why people have to prejudice against tattooed people? why!?" I live my life,i have no criminal record, iam at college finishing my degree,no traffic tickets, pay my taxes, pay my house and i don't have to steal to get what i want because i work for what i want to pursue or get so now can you tell me the difference between me a tattooed women and a non tattooed person? Nooo, theres no difference! Get to know us tattooed people before pointing your fingers at us and start prejudicing. And for those who say "You will regret your tattoos when you get old"Why should i regret my good memories with my family,my past,my present and future? No i will not regret it a single bit!

  2. Tattoos are awesome, I think only the strong conservative people are the ones how like to judge tattooed people, but who knows what they hide behind doors.

  3. I agree with you Marlene. Tattoos are ART in the skin, and I wish I could do this kind of art on people. Many people give them a strong meaning as you do, and I think this is the most important thing in a Tattoo, their meaning.
