Don't stop believing!!!

Sometimes a song can give us the fuel to move on, to continue, and to not give up. The song  that always inspires me to fight against any obstacles is "Don't stop believing" from the musical group, Journey. I love almost all of their songs but this one it just touches my heart and soul. Have you ever had a song like this? That when you are feeling sad, you turn on the radio and start hearing that special song...all of the sudden you smile, dance of happiness and forgets about the pain you were feeling for a second. Or a song that every time you hear it, it brings you good memories? Well for me this song "Don't stop believing" makes me feel free, like nobody can stop me from pursuing my dreams. I got some goals I want to achieve and music is my best partner right now. When I need to relax I hear music, when I need to heal my inner pain I hear music, when I want to remember good moments from my past I hear music and when I want to have fun I hear music. Music is a powerful personal healer and I medicate myself with it everyday. Hope someday you find that special song which can fill you up with happiness.

Where's my freedom?

Have we found freedom in this world? Have we found peace? Where i can find my freedom? Who can give it to me?. I ask myself every day this questions because i can not find an answer and will never will. I am not a pesimist person but we have to talk the truth. Have you noticed people fight wars instead of fighting poverty, kids and family dying because they do not have food or even fighting our real threat which is cancer. Are we really fighting our biggest enemy?, My answer is No! I believe in changing our targets and concentrating in what it really matters. Kids going to school hungry because their parents cannot afford food, people dying because they do not have medical insurance to treat their health problems or more homeless people trying to survive. Think again, What we need to fight? Against what?!
I hate to watch people suffering and feeling hopeless because theres no help coming. Lets fight the real battle and confront this situations now before it gets worse. Lets get along and work together as a family. Lets try to find the cure for cancer. Lets send kids home with bags full of food. Lets have our military troops back home. Lets provide instead of take away. Lets be and act as humans not as animals. Lets be in peace amen!

I miss you.

Ask yourself which person in your life you miss so much and you wish they are by your side right now. Close your eyes and think who might be that special person. Is that person living far away from you or did it went to heaven?. If that special person lives in another country you should plan once a year at least to visit them and spend some real quality time together because you never know when they might not be around. People have become more consume by the social networks that they could spend months or even years talking to each other by the computer but they never have the time or money to visit in person. I strongly believe this new behavior can cause serious problems for the next generations because instead of camping with the family or watching a movie together we will be spending our time in front of a computer. A computer that can not provide us love, affection, an advice or a hug when we feel sad. We try to feel our emptiness with a machine but we must accept this would not be possible. There's nothing better than having a physical and emotional connection with the person you love.  Do not let new technology tempt you because as soon as you get it your main focus will be that device and not your family. A good example is when teenagers have a new cellphone and they spend all day texting, talking or browsing the web but as soon as you take away that little device you would see an angry and desperate person. You ask them what's going on? and they will answer "I can not live without my cellphone". It sounds worst than a real drug addiction. I compare it with a curse because it enters your house and will never want to leave. My advice is to create a balance between technology devices and the people who really matters.
