Sometimes a song can give us the fuel to move on, to continue, and to not give up. The song that always inspires me to fight against any obstacles is "Don't stop believing" from the musical group, Journey. I love almost all of their songs but this one it just touches my heart and soul. Have you ever had a song like this? That when you are feeling sad, you turn on the radio and start hearing that special song...all of the sudden you smile, dance of happiness and forgets about the pain you were feeling for a second. Or a song that every time you hear it, it brings you good memories? Well for me this song "Don't stop believing" makes me feel free, like nobody can stop me from pursuing my dreams. I got some goals I want to achieve and music is my best partner right now. When I need to relax I hear music, when I need to heal my inner pain I hear music, when I want to remember good moments from my past I hear music and when I want to have fun I hear music. Music is a powerful personal healer and I medicate myself with it everyday. Hope someday you find that special song which can fill you up with happiness.

Where's my freedom?
Have we found freedom in this world? Have we found peace? Where i can find my freedom? Who can give it to me?. I ask myself every day this questions because i can not find an answer and will never will. I am not a pesimist person but we have to talk the truth. Have you noticed people fight wars instead of fighting poverty, kids and family dying because they do not have food or even fighting our real threat which is cancer. Are we really fighting our biggest enemy?, My answer is No! I believe in changing our targets and concentrating in what it really matters. Kids going to school hungry because their parents cannot afford food, people dying because they do not have medical insurance to treat their health problems or more homeless people trying to survive. Think again, What we need to fight? Against what?!
I hate to watch people suffering and feeling hopeless because theres no help coming. Lets fight the real battle and confront this situations now before it gets worse. Lets get along and work together as a family. Lets try to find the cure for cancer. Lets send kids home with bags full of food. Lets have our military troops back home. Lets provide instead of take away. Lets be and act as humans not as animals. Lets be in peace amen!

I miss you.
Ask yourself which person in your life you miss so much and you wish they are by your side right now. Close your eyes and think who might be that special person. Is that person living far away from you or did it went to heaven?. If that special person lives in another country you should plan once a year at least to visit them and spend some real quality time together because you never know when they might not be around. People have become more consume by the social networks that they could spend months or even years talking to each other by the computer but they never have the time or money to visit in person. I strongly believe this new behavior can cause serious problems for the next generations because instead of camping with the family or watching a movie together we will be spending our time in front of a computer. A computer that can not provide us love, affection, an advice or a hug when we feel sad. We try to feel our emptiness with a machine but we must accept this would not be possible. There's nothing better than having a physical and emotional connection with the person you love. Do not let new technology tempt you because as soon as you get it your main focus will be that device and not your family. A good example is when teenagers have a new cellphone and they spend all day texting, talking or browsing the web but as soon as you take away that little device you would see an angry and desperate person. You ask them what's going on? and they will answer "I can not live without my cellphone". It sounds worst than a real drug addiction. I compare it with a curse because it enters your house and will never want to leave. My advice is to create a balance between technology devices and the people who really matters.

Therapy in the highway.
A couple years ago while I was driving on the highway alone feeling empty I turn on the radio and said to myself ,"I will select a radio station randomly with my eyes close and the song that will pop up will be my message of the day just for me", and the song was from U2 title "With or without you". Since that moment, I felt an special bond with the song like it was meant for me. I though of it like "with or without" my problems I could go on with my life and win over any obstacles. While I was listening the song, I started singing very loud and tears was coming out from my eyes without caring about people who might have watched me through my car windows, I just felt freedom, relieved as I sing and emotionally attached to the song. It was like a therapy session for free. Since that day, I knew that music can change people's emotions, it's a powerful method to reach people's brain and work as a anti depression pill. Music can transport you to places, events or even remember a sad moment. But specifically this song, touched my heart and made me enjoy every moment of it. Someday you will find yourself like me but my advice will be....heal your heart and soul with good touching music.

The best meditation place ever.
My favorite place to meditate is the calming sound of the ocean waves. I love to sit by the beach sand, then close my eyes and hear the ocean waves while i feel on my face the refreshing air. When i was little i used to go to the beach with my parents and started building sand castles and play with the water, but now i visit the beach not just for fun but also to meditate, relax, take away any negative energy and recharge my batteries in a sense. I love to connect with the nature because it's pure, it's original and i can come back to my real life relieved. Anybody should try this method of meditation and you will experience a disconnection of your reality for a moment and be able to bring that positive energy back. Enjoy life while you can but maintain yourself relaxed.

Love you Dad!
\
Sometimes we forget who raised us, who had to work all day so we can have food on our dinner table, who took us to the park and play with us acting like a little child, who dress us, who took us to church and teach us good manners, who came to our room almost every night to read us a story before we are going to bed, who took us to school, who help us in our assignments, thanks to the help of "who" you graduated from high school, who gave you some advices, who gave you some extra money when you had an emergency and who spend a night at the hospital with you because you got injured or sick. Think again who that special person might be....In my case was my Dad!. I love you Dad and i thank you for everything you teached me and still teaches me. I thank you because everytime i call you, you tell me a joke which makes me happy even on my sad days you can make me laugh. I thank you because iam a more strong women than ever. I thank you because you are always there for me when i need your support. Love your parents and treat them with loving care... for you will only know their value when you see their empty chair.

Smile that cures
How many muscles are needed to produce a smile?, approximately only 13 muscles. How much it cost you to smile?, Nothing!. There are several important factors for you to consider smiling every day. One of them is that a smile can help you to get even a job, yes a job. When you go to an job interview you must project a positive attitude and the best way is by starting with a smile. The interviewer will analyze your "body language" and if you act like sad, depressed and with a bad attitude he will probably is not going to hire you. Another benefit from smiling is that the feeling of being relieved after you smile. Have you ever had laugh and laugh non stop and then feel a lot better like you are recharged up?, that's what i mean. Sometimes a good laugh or smile with a friend can function as the best therapy session ever. You are talking with your best friend and telling jokes each other laughing and laughing, i bet you that night you will never going to forget and will most likely want to repeat it. It's a sensation of freedom combined with happiness which gives you a result of a pain reliever medicine. You would be thinking why a "pain reliever"?, well yes!. When you feel lost, depressed and sad and some stranger come up and smile at you, you probably are going to smile back but that person gave you a message without words. This person is telling you "Life is good, you should smile more often". Think about that last phrase for a second and you know that smile can change the path of the way you may feel during the whole day. It's for example, when somebody looks at you with a mad face you are getting their message so you look at them back with the same feedback. People can change peoples emotions by just smiling. Smile even when you don't know why you are smiling for because soon or later you will help somebody feel a lot better without even knowing it as you walk away.
